This is the Student Council Election? has been updated with a successful strategy. In the end, my saying that it was impossible to win was still true depending on how a person looked at it. The quest is indeed impossible to win if you try to win by the Standard method. You can win by the Civilized method, but only by using the Military method to accomplish it. I will update the details on the options during the Negotiations when I have time to go through the quest again (as I didn't bother to create a video of the full quest (or screenshots, for that matter) -- only the conclusion scene).
The translation of the conclusion to the quest (and the demo) will follow in time. I could have had it finished over the weekend (as well as this update), but I decided to play games instead. I'm going to be pretty busy this week catching up with real life business, so don't expect the translation for some time.

Close to half of the introduction scene for
This is the Student Council Election? has been translated. I've unfortunately run out of time, so the other 60% or so of the translation will have to wait until I can find more time to work on it.

The last of the scenes in
Basics Lecture III have been translated. I'm going to go back to translating the quests in order again. I felt that the lecture was more important to translate than the other quests since it had more important information to deliver than the other two. I should hopefully be able to get a lot of work done tomorrow, but we shall see. The gang leader quest took a long time because of the length and difficulty of the scenes' dialog.

Basics Lecture III has been updated again with translations of several more scenes. There are still 3 more scenes to be translated for that particular quest, but I don't have time right now to continue working on them.

Bit more of an actual update this time. A few scenes of
Basics Lecture III have been translated. More translation work will follow either tomorrow (if I have time) or Wednesday. I would do more now, but alas, I'm busy tomorrow.

I feel rather ashamed that I did not come to this realization sooner, but Territoire is French for "territory" (the very pronunciation of the word should have been enough for me to realize). As it turns out, all of the character names are French as well. Facil (or rather, facile) means easy-going, Lien means string (i.e. bow string), Courage obviously means courage (no translation necessary there), Droit means upright or straight, Barbare means barbaric, Avide means greedy or grasping and Ami (as most people who know a little bit of French should know) means friend.

There is now a non-Silverlight (and non-Javascript) solution to accessing the walkthroughs on the main index page. As a result, index3.php will be removed by next Saturday since it is no longer required. index2.php will stay for the time being, but may eventually be removed if I feel there is no reason to hold on to it either.
The Chantelise navigational menu has been modified so that it no longer requires Javascript to function. Unfortunately, there are still some pages (i.e. the walkthrough pages) where Javascript is required in order to keep functionality the same. Removing the Javascript will change the functionality as a result, making it impossible to hide select pieces of information in other sections (e.g. monsters that are required to obtain the secret treasure).
I am considering a non-Javascript option for the Tokkyu Tenshi navigational menu as well, but I cannot guarantee that it'll look "pretty". Recettear's was easy since the options are naturally vertically listed, but in Tokkyu Tenshi's case, the menu was made horizontal, meaning that there will most likely be overlapping of submenus.
Translation of the scenes in Territoire is still under way. It's just that finding time to work on it can sometimes be difficult and there are times that I run into lines that are difficult to translate, which adds to the time it takes.

The
This is the Student Council Election? page has been updated with some rather... "shocking" information. It would appear that EasyGameStation never designed the demo to be beatable, as far as I am aware. If anyone does magically manage to successfully complete the quest though, I'd love to hear about it, but I will likely be skeptical about any success stories without any graphical proof. Following my findings of the stage, I'm not going to spend any more time trying to figure out how to complete the stage anymore. All attention is going to be placed on scene translation for the time being.

The
Research section has been fixed so the pages now link to one another properly and a Back link has been added to the individual pages. Scenario details have been added to the quests that have one and several grammatical errors (and a likely erroneous translation) have been corrected in
Basics Lecture II.
This is the Student Council Election? looks like it's going to take me some time to figure out exactly what I should be doing to complete it, so I think I'm going to spend some time doing more translation / fixing up the appearance of the site.
I'm going to be getting busy starting the 7th, so I likely won't have as much time to gather more information starting then.

I apologize for the rather unfinished appearance of the Territoire section, but with the amount of information I've been finding while playing the demo, it called for some changes to the way that I was originally planning on setting things up. The
Units,
Structures and
Research information all have their own individual pages now. The links have not all been updated yet (in fact, I think I might take a bit of a break first before continuing). There's little to see in the Units and Structures pages at the moment, but the Research page is more or less finished as far as the demo is concerned.

There have been a number of unannounced updates over the past day on various scales, but I've forgotten half of them and the there's too many in the other half for me to really want to list off all of the individual pages. Most of the updates were made in the
Campaign section and a lot of updating has been done in the
Game Basics page. One of those updates is an image of the technology tree and a listing of the technologies (and some of their requirements). I'll be spending some time going through the Game Basics section to add more information on the various types of structures, units and technologies before returning to working on the Campaign section. I believe there is much information that I need in the Game Basics page to really know what to do for
This is the Student Council Election?.

Happy belated new year everyone. I'd forgotten to mention it in the previous updates. Anyways, back to what you're here for,
Defending the Perimeter has been updated with information regarding the quest. Also, the
Prologue page has been updated with information about the rewards and requirements of some of the quests.

As noted earlier, I was planning on working on two walkthroughs earlier in the year. I wanted to get an idea of how much each one interested me, and I think I have a pretty clear answer now. My choices were Fortune Summoners and Labyrinthine Planet desParaiso.
desParaiso was the first of the two that I had thought about looking into, but there were some initial problems with updating the version. After getting that sorted out, I thought about using their latest version. The problem is desParaiso has seen a lot of updates. It's not just a simple matter of every few months or anything either; there are literally updates coming out every few days. The other thing that really caught my attention was the not-so safe for work appearances of some of the characters when shown in full body form. For example, Ruri, the blonde samurai, has a large opening in the side of her pants showing enough skin to be branded a prostitute (Shinku's not much better). Another example is Fiss, the cat girl, who has two sets of rather large breasts, which are practically screaming to pop out of her shirt.
As you can probably guess, I chose Fortune Summoners. Let it be known, however, that it is a low-priority task. Territoire is my top priority.

In commemoration of the release of Territoire in Japan, the Territoire walkthrough section is now officially open to public viewing. There is currently not much to look at as information still needs to be gathered. The introductory video will remain as is until a later date when the final storyline can be confirmed (Yes, that includes the erroneous character names for the time being until I get around to fixing them).

All of the image links in the walkthrough have been updated to use Lytebox instead of Lightbox, so they now appear as they were intended to.

Lots of fixes done to the Tokkyu Tenshi section. There was an open tag in
Final Stage E: Castle in the Sky that prevented the page from displaying properly. Lightbox apparently does not have the capability to use a period in place of square brackets in the rel attribute (W3C standards do not permit square brackets in the rel attribute), so Lytebox has taken its place. The
Gallery is now back in working order.
I apologize for any inconveniences these problems may have had on any players. I was unaware of them until my sister pointed them out to me. I will now be going through the Chantelise section to fix up the same issue there with Lightbox.

Merry Christmas, everyone.
In case anyone noticed that there were two additional games listed which (should have) led to 404 error pages, I will only be making a walkthrough for one of them for reasons I may share when I make the section available to the public. Please note, however, that I've considered it a "low-priority" task, meaning that I'll work on it when I feel like it and when the Territoire demo comes out, the Territoire demo will take precedence. More details will come on which game I chose and, possibly, the reason for dropping the other later.
