As annoying as Bees were in Chantelise, they're that annoying in Recettear. Bees will attack by diving at you.

Since you can no longer jump, melee characters are forced to wait for an opportune moment when it's low enough. Using a ranged character often doesn't help much more, provided you stick with regular attacks. In fact, using regular attacks, a ranged character may feel even more at a disadvantage against Bees.

Skills that can hit enemies at higher elevations (i.e. Memory Arrow, Full Moon Slash, etc.) are probably the best options. Arma's weapon One and Only is another very effective tool to get rid of Bees.
