Welcome to the Recettear walkthrough. This is now the third walkthrough that I've written, or at least, half-written. Since the game appears to be vast even at the demo's standpoint (considering the number of places you can go and the limitation on the amount of time you have in each day to do anything), I will not likely be bothering to cover every possible detail as far as dialogue goes and generally just translate story-related events. Again, as I sort of hinted in the Chantelise walkthough, I consider myself to still be an amateur translator. I have taken 2 courses in the Japanese language, but in my opinion, they weren't entirely useful. I'd have to thank self-study more for my knowledge. If there are any errors though, please contact me and I will consider updating the guide with the change if it sounds reasonable.
I've switched to HTML for several reasons. First, because it's easier to format for me (tables, tabbing, etc.), which also makes me feel a little more confident that other players will see the guide more like the way that I do. Secondly, I can insert images and in-page links, which makes it easier to show what I'm talking about and to direct you, the reader, to other related information. I understand that TXT is more transferrable, but it's a pain to make it look good and user-friendly.
With that, I hope that you will enjoy Recettear, and I also hope that this walkthrough lives up to the expectations of those who read it.

Since this is the trial version, I would like to hope that one can expect more out of the game. The total number of items that can be obtained feels very limited, considering that Minit managed to obtain over 50 of them out of the 77. I am also hoping that you will be able to retain what was left of your cash instead of resetting the value to 1,000 pix every week-worth of play if they retain the one-week sessions.
