Tips & Hints
- Try to keep some distance from your opponent if you're ahead of them. At any point, they could attempt an attack on you if you're too close. The best option is to try to attack them (if possible) or use a boost to create some distance.
- Weapons are invaluable, use them. Jumping will only get you so far through the race and can only be done if you're close to your opponent. Using different weapons can help you both in keeping ahead and by giving you extra points.
- A good way to keep your enemy's points down is by rushing. If you can find a good way to burst forward numerous times (or if they're already behind, which would be even better), try to "leave them in the dust" by charging ahead. If successful, you'll cause your opponent to lose 300 points. It's best if you can try to keep some methods of rushing forward still, as your opponent will float into the area in a bubble, which means if you're out of steam, they could possibly catch up.
- Get rid of "not-so-useful" weapons. Any time you pick up an item such as a hammer, which stay with you for a period of time, use them. It's better to try to keep items that you find much more useful with you. Items such as animal traps, banana peels, etc. can be used immediately if your opponent's behind you.
- The best time to use a weapon is when your opponent has no where else to go. If you're in a narrow hall with your opponent, make use of your weapons to get/stay ahead. After all, they've got no where to hide as the only way out is forward.
