Game Contols
←, ↑, →, ↓
The left and right arrows will move Rapid backward and forward on the screen.
However, I think it's very rare that you'll ever want to move backwards, especially when playing against the CPU or another player.
The up and down keys do not do anything on the field, but they will move menu upwards and downwards through menu selections. This is probably the first time the up and down keys have not served a purpose on the field in an EGS game.
The up and down keys can be used to switch between collected items to select which item to use.

Pressing Z will cause Rapid to jump.
Jumping is the main method of attack in Tokkyu Tenshi, but will also be necessary to get over obstacles.
This is also the confirmation key during menu selections.
You can use this key to skip straight to the countdown at the beginning of the stage.
On the world map, you will need to press this key to open the menu (move up to a stage first).
X
Pressing X will use one of the items that you've collected from a chest.
This is also the button for cancelling selections and going back to the previous menu.
C
As you play Tokkyu Tenshi, the yellow boost bar will fill.
Pressing the C button will cause Rapid to sprint ahead, depleting the bar.
This is a great way to catch up if you've fallen behind a great distance.
You can also use this to accelerate events.
V
Pressing V will bring up (or close, if open) the in-game menu during a stage.
On the world map, you will need to go up to a stage and press the confirmation key to bring up the menu.
A/S
Changes the item currently selected.
